The digital divide won’t close by itself. Filling in the gap between people with and without access to technology requires the know-how and drive of those like the members of the newly formed nonprofit, Free Geek Providence. Armed with a simple slogan borrowed from a Portland group, Free Geek Providence founder and native Nate Hutnak is setting out to “help the needy get nerdy.”
